Project Description

Laura & Alistair’s Wedding at St. Mary’s Church Stannington and after at The Parlour at Blagdon

Laura & Alistair’s wedding was the perfect combination of a beautiful ceremony at the Church of St. Mary the Virgin in Stannington and a relaxed and fun reception at the The Parlour at Blagdon. Laura looked radiant in silk ivory dress by Monsoon, as did her daughter Lizzie, who was also their bridesmaid. Lizzie sang a beautiful song during the service, which she had written herself, entitled “When I’m With You” and there wasn’t a dry eye in the church. She was accompanied by Alistair on guitar. Alistair and Page Boy, Matthew, also looked splendid in a navy suit by Next. The bride and groom left the church under a sparkler guard of honour, which was great fun for adults and children alike. The Parlour also proved to be a perfect choice, with great food, excellent service and a fantastic DJ whose playlist got everyone up dancing. Alistair made everyone reach for the hankies once more when he serenaded Laura with the song “Meant to Be”, which was composed by him especially for the occasion as a tribute to his beautiful bride. I loved every minute of Laura and Alistair’s wedding and was so happy to be their photographer.
