The glorious countryside of Anglesey was the setting for Katherine and Guy’s Spring Wedding. The weather held out and gave us some blue skies and sunshine.
Katherine and Guy are proprietors of a lovely small hotel in Beaumaris and their ceremony was at the church of St. Mary and St. Nicholas nearby. Reverend Neil Fairlamb made the service special by mentioning that he was from Northumberland, the home of Katherine and her parents and sister and also that it was his wedding anniversary that very day. The Anglo/Welsh bond was echoed throughout and made even more special by a Welsh Male Voice Choir.
The reception was held in the grounds of Guy’s Godparents, Dominic and Judith which provided a spectacular setting with Cherry Blossom, an illuminated stream, cows and geese and, best of all, Snowdonia as a backdrop. The bride and bridesmaids were radiant, helped along by some super hairdressing from ‘Julia Nicholls’. ‘Up Marquee’ did a great job and the caterers ‘Outside Food’ excelled themselves. The flowers, by Bluebells Floral Design, were beautiful too in both the church and the marquee.
The party went on till the early hours and the guests came up with their best moves to the band ‘The Rush’ who were brilliant. Great disco music too!
All in all, everyone agreed it was just a perfect day.
